About Secure Locksmiths & Security.
A mobile locksmith and electronic security business serving metropolitan Adelaide: emergency callouts, residential and commercial locksmithing, vehicle keys, and the access control, CCTV and alarm side that increasingly sits alongside them.
Start with the problem, not the product.
Security work goes wrong in a fairly predictable way: someone is sold a product before anyone has established what they are actually worried about. Better locks get fitted to a property whose real weakness is that nine people hold keys. Cameras get installed pointing at the wrong things. A digital lock goes on a door that cannot properly carry one.
So the first question is always what you are trying to prevent, and the second is what is genuinely wrong today. Sometimes the answer is a rekey and nothing else. Sometimes it is a hardware upgrade. Sometimes it is that the door and frame will not hold whatever is fitted to them, and that has to be dealt with first.
What that means in practice
- You get told when something is not needed. If a rekey solves your problem, we will say so rather than quote a full lock replacement.
- You get told when we are not the right trade. Meter box internals are an electrician's work. Some vehicle keys are dealer-only. A dropped door can be carpentry.
- Trade-offs get named. Double cylinder deadlocks, master keying and camera placement all involve real compromises, and you should hear them before the decision rather than after.
- Claims stay accurate. Including our own: see the note below.
Mechanical
Locks, keys, hardware and key systems: the layer that does the physical work.
Electronic
Digital locks, access control, CCTV and alarms, where permissions and records matter.
Mobile
Work happens at the property. Very little needs to leave site.
Around the clock
Emergencies do not keep business hours, so neither does the phone line.
Stated accurately, and worth verifying.
Security is a field where claims are easy to make and rarely checked. We would rather be precise about ours.
If your decision depends on a particular credential, licence or approval, ask us to state exactly what is held and by whom, then confirm it through the issuing body rather than taking a website's word for it, ours included. A supplier who is comfortable being verified is the one worth engaging.
Where to go from here.
The three routes most people take, depending on how urgent the situation is.
Emergency locksmith
Locked out, lost keys, or a lock that has failed: the 24 hour line.
02Residential locksmith
Homes, units and rentals: rekeying, repairs, spare keys and upgrades.
03Commercial locksmith
Business premises: key systems, access control, CCTV and alarms.
04Service areas
Where we attend across metropolitan Adelaide.
A small, mobile team.
Most locksmith websites run on stock photography. Genuine images of the actual van and the actual technician are worth more here than anything else we could write.
Technician beside the branded vehicle. The single most valuable photo on the site.
